Achieve manufacturing goals while sustaining daily operations, supplier performance and safety compliance.
Approach
Led daily operations and supplier development. Applied Lean tools, KPI analysis, process observation, 6S, cycle-time studies, SMED, FMEA, 8D, A3 and DMAIC to identify waste, analyze bottlenecks and optimize processes.
Outcome
The résumé reports operation OEE and employee utilization improving from 63% to 92%, and machine utilization from 35% to 85%. It also reports a $630,000 reduction in the quarter’s P&L and elimination of the weekend shift.
